Needleless Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a principle not a technique. Although the traditional way to stimulate an acupuncture point is with needles, there are many other ways to do this to provide relief for many symptoms including sciatic nerve treatments.

One very common method used in needleless acupuncture is a microcurrent machine that uses small amounts of electrical impulses to stimulate acupuncture points. This is known as electroacupuncture.

Another common method is acupressure which involves stimulating the point with applied pressure. Dr H’Doubler normally uses a device known as a tei shin also known as a non-piercing needle, but applying pressure with a person’s fingers can be effective as well.

Other methods of stimulation include lasers, heat, tuning forks and magnets.
